Nine years of enterprise IT. Two businesses built from it.
Where it started
I started in the field installing and servicing residential and business connectivity. Over nine years I progressed from Communications Technician to Senior Technical Operations Analyst, working across network infrastructure, VoIP, ITSM, Tier 2 escalations, and process improvement. I resolved 5 to 8 tickets daily with a 98% first-call resolution rate, reduced repeat incidents by 30% through root cause analysis, and authored documentation used across regions. That experience taught me how enterprise IT actually operates, not how textbooks say it does.
The startup chapter
While working full-time in enterprise IT, I built and administered the complete technology infrastructure for United Faith Enterprise, LLC from the ground up. Google Workspace setup, domain and DNS configuration, website build and maintenance, cloud file organization, and SOPs that made multi-brand operations manageable. That hands-on experience running a startup’s entire tech stack is exactly what I now offer through Signal Pathway Technology.
Why careers first
Across the teams I worked with, I kept seeing the same pattern: experienced IT professionals whose resumes did not reflect what they actually knew. Generic resume writers could not decode the certifications, the escalation history, or the operational depth. I built Signal Pathway Careers to fix that. Every resume I write is reviewed by someone who has held the types of roles I am writing about.
The shift toward AI
In 2025 I led an AI Productivity and Digital Enablement Initiative, designing AI-driven documentation workflows, building prompt libraries, and training users on automation techniques to measurably improve output quality and efficiency. AI is not a trend I am chasing. It is a tool I have been building with, and now I help businesses and professionals integrate it practically into how they actually work.
